In the late 70s and 80s, the second generation, Luc Bouckaert, started launching marketing campaigns aimed at military, municipal, and government departments. These campaigns paid off as the company was approached to provide quality products like durable insignias and textiles to numerous governmental and military departments for specific combat situations.
Since then, the company has become a leader in Health & Safety and Fireproof Technologies in textiles. It has achieved this by finding innovative ways to eradicate all toxic chemicals and formulating histamine-free inks. Bouckaert-Soenen aims to take the company even further into the future by finding more innovative ways of manufacturing products. The company specializes in 3D embossing, with a niche market in technical textiles for special effects in sports and protective industries. The company produces durable 3D Embossed Insignia, Cap Badges, Shoulder Flashes, and Epaulettes/Shoulder Boards using this special polymer. This is a ground-breaking new high-tech procedure that allows the polymer to be moulded and formed into a textile fabric using the exact microforms following client specifications. The features of these badges include being fireproof, phthalate-free, histamine-free, non-toxic, heat-resistant, and PVC-free to ensure the user’s safety.
